We will guide you through planning the service; complete necessary paperwork; and coordinate doctors, ministers, florists, newspapers and other vendors to make your funeral experience as seamless as possible.

Scatamacchia Funeral HomeOur funeral director can offer various ideas to make the service more personalized and are very open to family suggestions and creativity. We can assist families in personalizing the funeral ceremony to no longer focus on death, but rather the celebration of life. The Scatamacchia Funeral Home encourages families to submit personal items, including photographs of your loved one and memorabilia for the visitation.

   
Services can include:

  • Complete pre-need planning services.
  • Availability of our funeral director and professional staff 24 hours a day.
  • Professional transfer and care of the deceased including from the place of death to the funeral home.
  • A variety of merchandise (caskets, urns, vaults, burial clothing, etc.) for your selection. Merchandise may be viewed at our funeral home or we can bring photographs to your home.
  • Consultation with family and clergy.
  • Assistance of our staff in all necessary phases of arrangements.
  • Obtaining, preparation and filing of all necessary notices, authorizations and consents, certificates and permits.
  • Contacting local cemeteries or crematory, as required.
  • Preparing an obituary to be placed in any newspapers requested by the family.
  • Care and arrangement of floral pieces. including ordering special floral pieces at the family's request
  • Arranging for pallbearers and motor equipment, including limousines, as required.
  • Contacting Fraternal or Military organizations to take part in the ceremony.
  • Arranging for a personalized remembrance package consisting of a guest register book, memorial folders and acknowledgments
  • Alternative services should a family choose not to have a service with burial or entombment. The Scatamacchia Funeral Home offers cremation options, immediate burial plans and anatomical donation.
  • Aftercare assistance.
  • Assistance with Veteran's benefits.
  • Assistance with Social Security benefits.
